In this issue, we look at getting Consistent Conversions, without reinventing the wheel!
Kate Thompson of Temperance Meadows is a Zazzle seller, niche nerd, and toolkit builder who helps print-on-demand creatives work smarter. She shares the simple, strategic, and doable tools she wishes she’d had when she was learning.

CONSISTENT CONVERSIONS
โจWhat Works for Kate
Kate follows a “boring but brilliant” method: if something is selling, she doubles down on it. Instead of constantly chasing shiny new ideas, she identifies her best-selling designs and systematically applies them to more products. She also identifies her best-selling product types and creates more designs specifically for them.
๐The Big Wins
- Stopped the exhausting cycle of chasing shiny objects and making new listings from scratch.
- Started building depth in her store, not just width.
- Led to more consistent visibility and better conversion rates on the Zazzle platform.
๐กThe Idea Behind It
- Data Over Drama: It relies on actual sales data, not guesswork, to decide what to create next. This removes emotion and dramatically increases your chances of success.
- Momentum Builds Momentum: Every time you add a proven design to a new product, you’re creating another asset with a high probability of selling. This focus builds on itself.
- It’s What Customers Want: Your sales history is a direct reflection of what customers are looking for and are willing to buy. Giving them more of it is the simplest path to more sales.
๐Hereโs How To Do It
- Check your sales history or views: what DESIGN keeps showing up in your orders?
- Transfer that winning design to more product types (invitations, stickers, labels, mugs – whatever fits).
- Next, look at your best-selling PRODUCT TYPE and design a few more things just for that format.
๐ ๏ธ Tips & Tools
- Zazzle’s “transfer this design” feature makes this easy to start.
- Don’t just stop at a direct transfer. Tweak the layout or colors of the design to better fit each new product type for a more polished look.
๐In Her Own Words
“If something’s selling, don’t overthink it – double down.”
