โœจ What Works for Lindsey

Lindsey uses mockup and listing images that show the customer how they might use the product, not just a flat preview of what’s included.

By creating a visual “in-action” example – like a finished worksheet or a half-filled coloring page – she helps customers picture the product in their own lives, instantly seeing the benefit.

๐Ÿ† The Big Wins

  • Over the past few years, every sale run with these kinds of images has easily doubled her revenue compared to ones that didn’t.
  • It builds customer confidence and creates a sense of urgency to buy.
  • It clearly conveys the benefit of the product, leading to more sales.

๐Ÿ’ก The Idea Behind It

  • It Sells the Transformation, Not the Tool: Customers don’t buy a coloring book; they buy a relaxing or educational activity. Showing the product in use helps them see the result they’re actually paying for.
  • Sparks Imagination: A flat preview requires the customer to do the mental work of figuring out how to use it. An in-action shot does that work for them, making the value instantly obvious.
  • Builds Emotional Connection: When a customer can vividly picture themselves using your product and achieving a result, they build an emotional connection to it, which is a powerful driver for purchase.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Here’s How To Do It

  • Choose one of your products to promote.
  • Instead of a flat preview, create a visual “in-action” example (e.g., a half-filled coloring page, a planner page with writing on it).
  • Use Canva to drop your product into realistic mockups.
  • Add text or a caption to the image that reinforces the transformation (e.g., “Plan a whole week in 10 minutes!” or “Make chore time easy and fun”).

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Tips & Tools To Help You

  • Tip: Pair the image with copy that focuses on outcomes (“save time,” “get organized,” “engage your kids”).
  • Don’t wait for it to be perfect. Test a few variations and go with what gets the most clicks or comments.

๐Ÿ“ŒIn Her Own Words

“When customers can picture themselves using your product, or see the result it can create, it builds confidence and urgency to buy.”
