Meet Mabel Vazquez
Mabel is a computer engineer, a mom to two daughters, and a proud owner of a friendly schnauzer. Her digital entrepreneurship journey began three years ago, and now she runs three growing small businesses. As a blogger and a Top 4% Etsy seller, she creates and sells digital templates, courses, toolkits and guides to help other entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
✨The Experiment
Over the past year, Mabel experimented with creating Custom GPTs that help her audience generate ideas, create lead magnets, and build their digital products. As part of the guidance, the GPT naturally recommends her own products, affiliate tools, and free lead magnets when they can help the user move forward. She also published some of these GPTs in the GPT marketplace, so people could discover them organically. This allowed the GPT itself to become a way to attract subscribers and connect people with her ecosystem, instead of relying only on social media or blog content.

- Think of it as a helpful assistant, not a sales tool. Include your lead magnet as a natural next step for users who want more support.
- Test different ways of recommending your products so they feel like helpful suggestions, not ads.
- Publishing your GPT in the GPT store can also help new people discover you.
