30 Days of Experiments – Christina Deptulski

Day 4: The More the Merrier

Welcome to Day 4 of the 30 Days of Experiments.

This is a pop-up newsletter put together by Sree from Snazzy Designs. I’ve brought 26 creators together to share one short business experiment they have tried – and how you can do the same.

You can view all issues of the 30 Days of Experiments here.

Christina Deptulski is a multi-passionate entrepreneur with 5+ years of experience creating and selling PLR and personal-use printables, running affiliate programs, and building multiple income streams through courses and coaching.

The Experiment

Christina had been running paid bundles exclusively for printable sellers. For her Spring Into Your Digital Business Bundle, she decided to open it up to ALL digital product creators – not just printables.

She also added:

  • An affiliate competition with cash prizes
  • Her “Building Your Business with Bundles” course as a bonus for the $36 tier
  • Three prize categories: Most $27/$37 tickets sold, Most $9 tickets sold, Most tickets overall

🏆The Result

  • 43 contributors (vs. 27 for printables-only bundles) – a 60% increase
  • 103 total bundles sold (56 at $36, 44 at $9, 3 at $27)
  • Successfully expanded reach beyond the printables niche

One lesson learned: No affiliates hit the minimum threshold for competition prizes – it was set too high!

🛠️ Tips & Tools

  • Lower the minimum threshold for affiliate competition prizes
  • Offer 50% commission for contributor affiliates and 45% for affiliates-only
  • Reach out personally to contributors from previous bundles and post in Facebook groups
  • Offer a bonus for the higher-cost tier to incentivize upgrades
  • Keep contributors posted through Facebook group, Google Drive, and email

💡In Her Own Words

“Reach out to contributors personally. Contact people from previous bundles you’ve hosted, other bundles you’ve been in together, and post in all the Facebook groups that look for contributors. Offer a bonus for the higher-cost tier—it incentivizes people to spend more. Keep contributors posted in a timely manner through a Facebook group, Google Drive, and email. Communication is everything.”

The image displays the phrase "miss FANCY PLANS" in pink and gold text with three gold and pink star accents on a light pink background, making it perfect for a 30DOE or DOE Sponsor Footer graphic.
A cloud-shaped graphic with the text "Cloudtiful Biz" in bold and regular font, a small sparkle icon on the upper right, and a subtle "30DOE Sponsor Footer" detail beneath.
Logo for "Creator OS" featuring a green striped circle partially overlapped by a red outline circle, with the words "Creator" in black and "OS" in red text—ideal for use as a footer or sponsor badge for 30DOE.
