30 Days of Experiments – Pam Allen

Day 21: Ask First, Create Second 🎯

Welcome to Day 21 of the 30 Days of Experiments.

This is a pop-up newsletter put together by Sree from Snazzy Designs. I’ve brought 26 creators together to share one short business experiment they have tried – and how you can do the same.

Meet Pam Allen

Pam is a Canva-loving digital creator and guide who helps women entrepreneurs turn ideas into income through simple, sellable digital products. She specializes in helping beginners create printables, templates, and smart content systems that grow their business without overwhelm.

She’s known for making things feel doable – no perfection required, just clear steps, real support, and a little bit of “let’s get this done” energy.

The Experiment

In the last 12 months, Pam experimented with creating a lead magnet that was truly for her people, not just something she thought she should make. She asked what they needed most to feel confident in Canva, and they told her. She’d offered freebies before, but this one was different – it was requested again and again. It helped new subscribers feel comfortable first, making the design process feel easier and less overwhelming.

🏆The Result

✅ More aligned email list, with stronger engagement
✅ More people joining her Facebook group
✅ New members inside her membership
✅ Sign-ups for her 6-week Canva Confidence course
✅ That one lead magnet became a foundational resource in her business and brought in steady momentum

🛠️ Tips & Tools

  • Start by listening before you create. Ask your audience what they’re struggling with, and build the freebie around the request they make most often.
  • Keep it simple and beginner-friendly! Remember, one clear, quick win is more powerful than an overloaded guide.
  • Make sure it leads somewhere: a Facebook group, a course, or your membership, so people know the next step.
  • And don’t promote it once. You need to share it consistently, because repetition is what turns a good freebie into real momentum.

💡In Her Own Words

“The best lead magnets aren’t flashy… they’re useful.”
