30 Days of Experiments – Nadia Arbach

Day 2: Relationships + Revenue

Welcome to Day 2 of the 30 Days of Experiments.

This is a pop-up newsletter put together by Sree from Snazzy Designs. I’ve brought 26 creators together to share one short business experiment they have tried – and how you can do the same.

You can view all issues of the 30 Days of Experiments here.

Nadia Arbach (a.k.a. Miss Fancyplans) designs PLR planners, journals, and kids’ activities for PLR buyers who want done-for-you customizable products that are fun, fancy, and whip-smart.

Nadia is also one of our sponsors for this newsletter!

The Experiment

In 2025, Nadia shifted her entire business strategy. Instead of creating and launching products solo, she focused on 1:1 collaborations with business friends she’d met through coaching programs – all product and course creators in the PLR and printables space.

Her approach was simple: work on products that let each person showcase their best skills while focusing on a common interest. Some collabs meant creating separate products to bundle together for limited-time sales (then selling individually later). Others meant co-creating products they’d co-own together.

She ran this experiment with 5 different business partners throughout the year.

🏆The Result

Every single collaboration met or exceeded revenue expectations.

But here’s what surprised Nadia most: the revenue wasn’t even the biggest win. The strengthened relationships and trust that came from working together so closely far outweighed the financial gains. She’s continuing this approach in 2026 and beyond – not because she has to, but because she wants to.

🛠️ Tips & Tools

  • Work on a project you’ll both love! Think of a great way to put your best skills together.
  • Set expectations upfront about time commitment, pricing, expected returns, and how you’ll communicate.
  • Share the non-product work equally – sales pages, mockups, email copy, documentation, etc.
  • Set check-in dates to stay accountable. Build in leeway for launch dates because projects will fall behind sometimes (and that’s okay).
  • Stay in touch regularly and let your collab partner know how much you appreciate their work.

💡In Her Own Words

“For each of these collabs (with five different biz buddies), our project met or exceeded expectations in terms of revenue – but the benefit that far outweighed the revenue was the strengthened relationships and trust that resulted from working together so closely. I will absolutely keep doing this, not only in 2026, but into the future.”
