30 Days of Experiments – Laura Parker

Day 16: Minimum Viable Workdays⚡

Welcome to Day 16 of the 30 Days of Experiments.

This is a pop-up newsletter put together by Sree from Snazzy Designs. I’ve brought 26 creators together to share one short business experiment they have tried – and how you can do the same.

You can view all issues of the 30 Days of Experiments here.

Meet Laura Parker

Laura is a business strategist and implementation partner who works with capable, established women whose businesses look fine on the outside… but only really work when energy is high.

She helps them redesign how their business actually runs so it still moves forward on average days and lower-capacity weeks, with a big focus on reducing mental load and making things easier to sustain.

The Experiment

Laura stopped trying to do her “best” every day in her business and redesigned her week around what she can reliably do on average days. Instead of pushing for peak performance, she defined a minimum viable workday and built her priorities, sales activity, and planning around that baseline.

🏆The Result

✅ Became more consistent
✅ Less exhausted
✅ Stopped starting and abandoning plans
✅ Progress became steadier
✅ Sales stopped depending on bursts of energy or motivation

🛠️ Tips & Tools

Design your business around your baseline, not your best days. Decide what “enough” looks like, protect it, and let high-energy days be a bonus rather than a requirement.

💡In Her Own Words

“Decide what ‘enough’ looks like, protect it, and let high-energy days be a bonus rather than a requirement.”

Client work full. Marketing half-done. Growth… somewhere on the “when I get a minute” list. There’s a better way to hold all three, without stretching yourself thinner.

A cloud-shaped graphic with the text "Cloudtiful Biz" in bold and regular font, a small sparkle icon on the upper right, and a subtle "30DOE Sponsor Footer" detail beneath.
Logo for "Creator OS" featuring a green striped circle partially overlapped by a red outline circle, with the words "Creator" in black and "OS" in red text—ideal for use as a footer or sponsor badge for 30DOE.
