CONSISTENT CONVERSIONS

What Works for Kate

Instead of a typical “ask me anything” Zoom call to launch a coaching program, Kate hosts a week of free group coaching delivered via a private podcast stream. People sign up for access, submit questions via a form, and get answers and coaching in a binge-able audio format that provides immense value and a real taste of her coaching style.

🏆The Big Wins

  • With the exception of only two people, every single person who asked a question joined her membership.
  • The majority of those new members chose the yearly plan, maximizing customer lifetime value from the start.

💡The Idea Behind It

  • Demonstrates, Doesn’t Just Describe: It lets potential customers experience your coaching style directly, which is far more powerful than just reading testimonials or sales page copy.
  • Removes Performance Pressure: It allows you to deliver high-value coaching without the stress of being live on camera, making it feel more authentic and less like a performance.
  • Creates a High-Value Asset: The private podcast feels exclusive and tangible. It also serves as a bonus item or replay that continues to provide value long after the launch.

👉Here’s How To Do It

  • Get a private podcast host (like Hello Audio or Justcast). Create a sign-up page for people to get access to the private podcast stream.
  • Set up a Q&A form (using a tool like Airtable) to collect audience questions. Embed this form on a mini-sales page for your offer that includes testimonials and results.
  • Include a section on how the private audio coaching section works, testimonials and results that your program has given for people on that page as well.
  • Record your answers as episodes. You can also pepper in valuable mini-trainings or replays from past webinars as bonus episodes.
  • Include links to your offer in all the podcast show notes.
  • Make sure you send reminder emails about 2 hours before questions are due to get the most questions.
  • Even though you’re publishing everyone’s answers at the same time – check your form a couple times a day to bang out answers.
  • Include mini update episodes like if the doors are closing to your program or if you are doing a price increase or an expiring bonus.
  • If you did host a live webinar or challenge before where people asked you questions about your offer feel free to pepper in one or two of those as episodes but NOT all of them.

🛠️ Tips & Tools

  • Private Podcast Host: Hello Audio or Justcast
  • Question Collection: Airtable

📌In Her Own Words

Most of this should be you coaching people – but if somebody asked you a really juicy question or objection totally cover that.
